Navmii Offline GPS App Reviews

Used this app for 3 weeks on the road in some of the remotest parts of Ireland where data signals for travelers are virtually non-existent! It even works in airplane mode!! The only downside is it picks your route for you but the trick around that is to pick a way point on a road you want to take. Depending on how long your journey is, you may have do this a couple of times. Wished Id known about this app for our 3 weeks in the Scottish Highlands...would have saved us a lot of data charges.

This is excellent - I especially appreciate the HUD. Very helpful driving at night.

The POIs display perfectly on the iPhone version of the app, but they dont display on the iPad version at all. Ive tried everything in the settings, but they wont display.

I program and wifi and it works great without data plan in UK on my 5S. Very reliable and copes with diversions. New version tells me I am roaming whether I am or not. Also latest version has quit unexpectedly on iphone. Seems fine on ipad.

Used this app for a month while we were in England. It was accurate and easy to use.

Just downloaded the new version for a trip next week to the UK. The map is covered with useless people. I presume these are navmii users at those locations? This is pointless and distracting and I did not see a way to turn this option off. Also, the map does not seem to have as many POIs. Maybe the got rid of the POIs to make room for the people? Im looking for another nav app. This one is no longer useful with the update changes.
